Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical General Laborer to join our team located at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base.

This position involves performing physical labor at a construction site using hand and power tools, assisting other craft workers, cleaning and preparing sites, and operating power construction equipment. All tasks must be performed using appropriate equipment and safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. We provide on-the-job training and certifications as needed for safety and equipment operation. Prevailing wages are paid for work on a military installation.

Pay Range: $18.00-22.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One or more years of field or trade work experience in commercial construction; government, military, or large commercial experience preferred.
• Forklift certification and experience in logistics/warehouse/residential work are a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred; additional training such as forklift/manlift, fall protection, scissor lift/boom lift, and OSHA 10-hour are also preferred.
