Job summary

Delta Constructors, LLC is seeking a Mechanical General Foreman to lead pipefitting and structural crews in an oilfield setting. You will plan daily work, supervise crew performance, and ensure safety and quality across projects with client and company teams.

Responsibilities include toolbox talks, inspections, timesheets, and training of new crew members. A strong emphasis on meeting schedules, costs, and compliance with OSHA standards is required.

Qualifications

• Must have proven supervisory experience in oilfield industrial settings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and heavy equipment.
• Extensive piping and structural craft experience in oilfield operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to liaise with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crews are on site, prepared and equipped to perform assignments.
• Lead toolbox and safety meetings; enforce safety protocols.
• Inspect crew work for quality, efficiency and safety; ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with client reps, QC and project management to socialize plans.
• Prepare daily timesheets and track materials, costs and work performed.
• Assist Foreman with training of new crew members.
• Foster a safe, productive work environment and ensure OSHA/client standards are met.
• Organize weekly/daily plans to maximize productivity and safety.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Mechanical General Foreman reports directly to the Mechanical Superintendent and is responsible for the planning, crew development, safety, material management and quality control of the pipefitting and structural disciplines. The incumbent oversees the work of subordinates and interacts with site foreman to ensure quality, efficiency, safety, and compliance with both federal, state, local, client and company safety regulations.

Schedule:

Full-time, non-rotational

• 60 hours per week

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure crews are on site, prepared and equipped to perform their assignments
• Conducts and leads toolbox and safety meetings
• Conduct regular inspections of crews work to ensure consistency, efficiency, safety, and quality
• Liaise and interface to socialize plans with client representatives, company quality control and project management team in a professional manner
• Prepare daily timesheets, documenting & approving work performed, materials used, costs, etc.
• Assist Foreman with training of new crew members
• Create an efficient, safe, and quality work environment
• Ensure foreman and crews are following all client, company and OSHA safety standards
• Organize and plan work weekly and daily to ensure crews are productive and safe
• Other job duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 7 years minimum experience working as pipefitter or structural craft hand in an oil field industrial setting
• 5 years’ minimum experience in a supervisory and or lead role
• Current and valid driver’s license, with clean driving record

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Demonstrated ability in supervising and leading others
• Must be proficient with hand and power tools as well as heavy equipment
• Able to perform all tasks and responsibilities in a professional manner
• Experience with lifting and setting of heavy lift modules
• Vast experience and skill in piping, structural and other labor crafts in an industrial oilfield setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication with positive interpersonal skills
• Skilled in scheduling crews and managing daily customer deliverables
• Able to work a minimum 12-hour shift daily
• Knowledgeable and experienced in oilfield operations
• Attends training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department.
• Computer skills commensurate with programming and job applications.
