Job summary

Delta Constructors in Carlsbad, NM is seeking a Roustabout to support oilfield operations. The role involves using hand and power tools, performing cutting, grinding, threading, digging pits, and installing pipelines, while following safety standards and company policies.

You will typically work a 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule with per diem and benefits; must have a high school diploma and 2 years electrical experience; a clean driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Secures equipment and transports according to company policy.
• Performs cutting, grinding, and threading of various items.
• Digs pits and lines; installs and repairs piping, valves, pumps, motors.
• Installs and repairs pipelines; repairs dikes and grounds around facilities.
• Cleans up spills and assists with general site maintenance.

Job description

Brief Description:

The Roustabout position is an intermediate level position that is labor-intensive and is primarily responsible for supporting oilfield operations. The incumbent operates both hand and power tools. Job tasks and assignments may vary daily. All work is performed to industry safety standards, and company and client HSE policies and procedures.

Per Diem:

$35 - $70 per day ($210 - $420 per week)

Schedule:

4 weeks ON 2 weeks OFF

Working Hours:

• 60 hours per week (opportunity for more)
• 36 weeks ON and 17 weeks OFF (22% MORE TIME OFF!)
• Flexibility for special occasions, family needs, or other accommodations is available

Essential Job Functions:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, or Equivalent
• Two (2) years electrical experience; industrial industry preferred
• Current and valid driver's license, with clean driving record required depending on location
