Joshua Robert Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mechanical Foreman for a well-established national design-build contractor in Austin, TX. The role oversees field teams on multi-million-dollar projects, prioritizing safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will lead and mentor crews, coordinate with the Project Superintendent and trades, and use company technology to track progress and meet milestones. A Journeyman/Master license and OSHA 30 are preferred, along with knowledge of IECC, ICC,

Qualifications

  • Five years of field supervisory experience on multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IECC, ICC, ASHRAE standards and local codes.
  • Active Journeyman or Master license; OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills; familiarity with common software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and evaluate field project team members, providing direction, support, and mentorship.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the production of the assigned scope of work, including manpower and materials.
  • Work closely with the Project Superintendent and other trades to coordinate production.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, inspectors, the general contractor, and other trades.
  • Enforce and promote high standards of quality and safety, ensuring all work meets project specs and codes.
  • Utilize company-provided technology to track progress and ensure on-time completion while exceeding expectations.

Salary– $90,000 - $115,000

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead, train, and evaluate field project team members, providing direction, support, and mentorship.

  • Utilize company-provided technology, including an iPad and smartphone, to manage project information, track progress, and ensure work is completed on time while exceeding customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Five years of field supervisory experience, managing scope on multi-million-dollar projects;
  • Strong knowledge of the IECC, ICC,and ASHRAE Standards, local codes, and construction safety requirements;
  • Active Journeyman or Master license, as well as OSHA 30 certification preferred;
  • Effective communication and reporting skills, as well as knowledge of commonly used computer software.
