Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in Pelzer, SC is seeking a hands-on technician with large forklift and crane experience to assemble, move and position heavy equipment. Extensive familiarity with tooling and gear-setting may be considered for the right candidate.

The role requires lifting 50+ lbs regularly, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in temperature extremes. Strong safety, integrity and teamwork are valued as you support Vertiv's mission-critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Must be able to routinely lift 50+ lbs and carry objects over distance.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stand for extended periods outdoors.
• Experience with forklifts, cranes, tooling and gear-setting preferred.

Job Description Primarily a job that requires Large Forklift and/or Crane experience.. or extensive experience with Tooling and gear-setting may be considered. Possibly hire a very strong mechanical fitter... someone with sockets, torque wrench and impact drill experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to routinely life 50+ lbs and carry objects over a distance. Must be able to climb ladders Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; must be able to freely bend, twist, squat and climb. Must be able to use hand tools requiring manual dexterity

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Ability to work in an outdoor environment with temperatures occasionally above 100 degrees or below 32 degrees and accompanying elements.
