Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a warehouse/manufacturing technician with strong forklift and crane experience for our South Carolina plant. The role emphasizes operating a large forklift (15K–35K capacity) and possibly an overhead crane, reading blueprints, and working with the shipping and production teams to move parts safely and efficiently.

Candidates should be mechanically inclined, familiar with chain hoists, shackles, and slings, and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs consistently and safely.
• Read blueprints and use torque wrenches.
• Experience operating large forklifts (15K–35K) and overhead cranes.
• Mechanically inclined with chain hoists, shackles and slings.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and possibly overhead crane to move parts with shipping and production teams.
• Read blueprints and use hand tools and torque wrenches.
• Provide troubleshooting and document production quality requirements.
• Maintain safety and productivity toward targets.
