Job description

Xylem is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team in Summerville, SC, servicing diesel pumps at various Xylem and customer sites.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel pumps and their electrical and mechanical components.
2. Provide phone support when applicable.
3. Receive equipment-specific training; previous experience with diesel, mechanical, and electrical equipment is encouraged.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

• Day shift with overtime opportunities.
• On-call rotation including occasional afternoons and weekends.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school Diploma or GED.
