Qualifications

• At least 5 years estimating, controls and/or engineering experience related to mechanical construction.
• Experience in multiple disciplines and working knowledge of estimating techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and/or tour job sites to confirm requisite take-offs.
• Calculate complete take-off of scope of work using estimating software.

Skills

Proficiency with FastPIPE or FastDUCT

Knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control

Ability to interpret computerized cost data

Education

High school degree or equivalent

Technical training or advanced education preferred
