Qualifications

• At least 5 years estimating, controls and/or engineering experience related to mechanical construction.
• Ability to perform detailed work and successfully meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and/or job site tours.
• Perform complete take-off of scope of work using estimating software.
• Maintain files of working documents for estimate figures.
• Support field operations regarding mechanical estimates.

Skills

Proficiency with FastPIPE and/or FastDUCT

Working knowledge of multiple disciplines

Ability to interpret computerized cost data

Attention to detail and deadline management

Education

High school degree or equivalent

Some technical training or advanced education
