Job summary

Lumicity is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join a leading general contractor delivering complex commercial and industrial projects. This fully remote role pays up to $150K base and will own mechanical estimates from concept through final bid, including takeoffs, scope development, RFIs, bid packages, subcontractor pricing, value engineering, and final proposal support.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of true mechanical estimating experience, a strong Division 23 HVAC background, Division 22

Qualifications

• 5+ years of true mechanical estimating experience.
• Strong Division 23 HVAC background.
• Division 22 Plumbing experience.
• Experience with takeoffs, RFIs, bid packages and pricing.
• GC or major mechanical contractor background.

Responsibilities

• Lead takeoffs and scope development for mechanical systems.
• Manage RFIs and bid packages to support final proposal.
• Coordinate pricing with subcontractors and vendors.
• Perform value engineering to optimize cost and schedule.
• Support final proposal with accurate and comprehensive estimates.

Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join a leading general contractor delivering complex commercial and industrial projects.

This is a fully remote role paying up to $150K base.

You’ll take ownership of mechanical estimates from concept through final bid, including takeoffs, scope development, RFIs, bid packages, subcontractor/vendor pricing, value engineering, and final proposal support.

We’re looking for someone with:

• 5+ years of true mechanical estimating experience
• Strong Division 23 HVAC background
• Division 22 Plumbing experience
• Flexible across project experience
• Strong knowledge of ductwork, piping, hydronics, equipment, and mechanical systems
• GC or major mechanical contractor background
