As a Mechanical Estimator, you will develop accurate cost estimates and bid proposals for industrial construction projects, helping position the company for successful project execution and long-term growth. This role supports preconstruction planning by analyzing drawings, specifications, labor requirements, material costs, equipment needs, and subcontractor pricing while collaborating with project management, engineering, procurement, and operations teams.

As a Mechanical Estimator, you will review project drawings, specifications, bid packages, and technical documents to develop detailed labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates for industrial and commercial construction projects. A typical day may include performing quantity takeoffs, evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotations, participating in pre-bid meetings, conducting jobsite visits, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, procurement professionals, and operations leaders to validate scope and pricing assumptions. You will assess project risks, identify potential cost impacts, analyze market conditions, and prepare competitive bid proposals that support successful project awards. Your work directly influences project planning, contract negotiations, budgeting, and business development efforts while helping ensure the company remains competitive in the industrial construction marketplace.
