Job summary

Iaas Lc in United States, Aiken, SC, offers a hands-on mechanical engineering internship with CREO-based design, 3D modeling, and detailed drawings for client projects. Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Gaining technical experience in mechanical engineering through hands-on tasks.
• Working on detailed machine design and 3D modeling using CREO (Pro/Engineer).
• Creating drawings in CREO (Pro/Engineer) and sizing mechanical commercial components.
• Performing stress analysis of components, piping systems, and HVAC/Facilities design.
• Exposure to NQA-1 quality requirements.
• Collaborating with other disciplines and interfacing with clients and contractors.
• Following schedules and budget commitments while working independently.
• Demonstrating good written and oral communication skills and problem-solving ability.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Graduation date after August 2027.
• Pursuing an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited program.
• Currently enrolled and entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or enrolled in graduate school.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for client projects.

Desired qualifications include:

• Strong preference for experience with CREO (Pro/Engineer); familiarity with Solidworks, Revit, CADworx, or other 3D modeling packages is a plus.
• Previous internships in Mechanical Engineering.
