Job summary

Diamond H2O is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to support engineering projects through technical drawing, prototype testing, and quality control. You will interpret blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with a small team. Occasional travel to manufacturing sites is required.

The role reports to the Company President and requires proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and a hands-on approach to prototype development.

Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in mechanical engineering technology.
• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Strong skills in mechanical drafting and prototype development.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Experience using measurement and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Conduct prototype testing and collect performance data.
• Perform quality control checks using measurement and inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering team members to support project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all activities.
• Utilize CAD software for design and drafting tasks.
• Occasionally travel to manufacturing sites as needed.
