Job description

The Construction MEP Engineer is responsible for leading all field-related MEP activities on mission-critical data center projects, ensuring compliance with established standards, and supporting successful project delivery. This role requires expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, data center design, MEP coordination, RFI management, vendor and subcontractor coordination, cost, schedule, and quality management, and maintaining a safe work environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Typical Day

• Support multiple data center construction projects from a Mechanical Engineering perspective as the owner's representative.
• Coordinate with project teams regarding mechanical design questions and RFIs.
• Inspect installed mechanical systems to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Work closely with general contractors and engineering teams to resolve field issues efficiently.

Ideal Candidate Background

• Mechanical Engineer with extensive data center experience.
• Experience supporting liquid-cooled data center environments is highly preferred.
