Medtronic Neuroscience in Fridley, MN seeks an engineering leader to guide a team of mechanical engineers across Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health products. You will drive design changes, CAPA actions, and cross-functional problem resolution while ensuring product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes staff development, priority setting, and collaboration with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Clinical teams to deliver robust, safe medical devices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years of experience with people leadership or leading technical teams and complex engineering projects
• Experience working in a regulated industry utilizing formal design control processes.
• Experience leading technical investigations and driving cross-functional issue resolution.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders while supporting business and operational objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of mechanical engineers supporting engineering activities across the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health portfolio.
• Establish team priorities, allocate resources, and drive execution across multiple concurrent engineering initiatives.
• Direct complex technical investigations, root cause analyses, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities, and product remediation efforts.
• Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Operations, Clinical, and Product Development teams to resolve product and process issues.
• Oversee design changes and product modifications through established design control and change management processes.
• Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and technical decision-making to support product performance and patient safety.
• Support supplier-related investigations, qualification activities, and manufacturing issue resolution as needed.
• Monitor team performance, resource utilization, and workload planning while developing technical capability and leadership within the organization.
