Job summary

Potter Global Technologies in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical engineering team in NPD and product sustainment. You will drive technical quality, resource planning, and project performance across cross-functional partners to deliver life-safety solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in mechanical engineering with leadership experience, CAD proficiency (SolidWorks), and experience with ERP/MRP and PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years in mechanical engineering with NPD experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or people management experience.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers, CAD resources, and technicians.
• Drive NPD programs from concept to commercialization with clear milestones.
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements and plans.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Present portfolio status and risks to senior leadership.
• Establish and monitor engineering metrics and standards.
