Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a project execution engineering team within Lifecycle Solutions and Services. The role focuses on guiding day-to-day project execution, growing team capabilities, and partnering with cross-functional groups to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in engineering leadership, experience with material handling or logistics automation, and strong coaching and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering management or leadership experience.
• Experience with material handling or logistics automation preferred.
• Ability to lead a team across multiple projects and locations.

Responsibilities

• Own project performance and outcomes of the direct engineering team.
• Provide coaching to ensure team and project success.
• Ensure delivery targets for quality, schedule, and cost.
• Provide regular status reporting to management and peers.
• Manage project budgets and forecast across projects.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering staff.
