Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, invites you to join as a Mechanical Engineer Intern/Co-Op in Holland, MI for May–August 2027. You will assist Mechanical Engineers, learn from seasoned professionals, and support design, build, and deployment of automated equipment.

Responsibilities include detailing drawings, updating CAD models, and collaborating with vendors. The program requires a high school diploma and ongoing enrollment in an engineering degree program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering degree program.

Internship Type: Full-Time, Paid

As a Mechanical Engineer Intern/Co-Op, you will assist and support other Mechanical Engineers. Learn from some of the most dedicated and technically competent engineers in the Automation Industry. JR Automation drives change by learning and innovating faster than anyone else. As a member of a project team, you’ll work alongside our Applications, Controls, Mechanical, and Build teams to support the design, build, program, and deployment of custom automated equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Detail drawing packages for Mechanical Engineers.
