Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field for the entire internship duration.
• Excellent oral and written communication is required.
• Previous internship or work experience is a plus.
• Experience with CATIA, Pro/E or similar CAD systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers across design, production, manufacturing and testing functions.
• Prepare vehicle component layouts using CATIA and evaluate weight, cost, reliability and manufacturability.
• Follow projects on the assembly floor for prototypes or production builds and provide technical support.
• Generate engineering calculations such as weight distribution and stress analysis.
• Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Create and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in the PLM system.
• Design, model, and test mechanical systems that integrate with a vehicle.
