Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Graduating after December 2027.
• Work authorization in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Onshape.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical design, fabrication, or lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Support cryogenic UHV test systems design, build, and operation.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and assembly docs.
• Collaborate to fabricate, assemble, troubleshoot, and improve ion trap test systems.
• Collect and analyze data to validate hardware performance.
• Support root-cause investigations and design improvements.
• Contribute to design reviews and documentation.
• Work with Integrated Photonics team to build fixtures and test hardware.
