Job summary

Quantinuum is seeking an onsite Photonic Integrated Circuit Design Intern in Broomfield, CO. You will join the Internships/Students team to support the development of quantum computing systems and photonic components.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicists and optical engineers, designing photonic components, and applying photonic simulation tools to advance commercial and research projects. This is an intern-level full-time position.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Physics or Engineering PhD, graduating after Sep 2027.
• Experience with PIC design tools and photonic simulation.
• Experience with design-for-manufacturing and photonics fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a team of physicists and optical engineers supporting development of commercial and research systems.
• Design and develop integrated photonic components and systems to deliver and manipulate light across spectra.
