Qualifications

• Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering program with focus on experiments and data analysis.
• Completed core Mechanical Engineering courses including Experimental Analysis, LabVIEW, and Matlab.
• Desirable coursework includes Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Design, Numerical Analysis / FEA, and Statics.

Responsibilities

• Use LabVIEW & Matlab to control a test system and collect/analyze data.
• Enhance testing by LabVIEW/Matlab programming and new design elements.
• Create software routines used for quality control.
• Enhance image analysis techniques.
• Perform other laboratory duties as needed.
• Conduct thermal finite element analyses (FEA).
