Qualifications

• Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering program
• Must have completed core Mechanical Engineering courses
• LabVIEW programming and MATLAB programming experience
• Familiarity with heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, numerical analysis/FEA, statics

Responsibilities

• Operate test systems using LabVIEW and MATLAB; collect and analyze data.
• Enhance testing by implementing new design elements in LabVIEW and MATLAB.
• Create software routines for quality control.
• Improve image analysis techniques.
• Perform thermal finite element analyses (FEA).
• Handle other laboratory duties as required.
