Job summary

Mechanical Engineering Intern – Hiring Event with AECOM in New York City. The position is a hybrid internship with office work in New York, NY or Bloomfield, NJ, starting Spring/Summer 2027.

Interns will perform design activities, create designs and calculations under supervision, and gain hands-on experience through a broad learning program designed to transition students to professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or in another related field.
• Must have completed at least 1 year of study.
• Recent graduates may apply if they plan to continue with a Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering design activities under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams under supervision.
• Gains hands-on experience and a broad learning experience within the field of study.
