Job summary

AECOM is hosting an exclusive hiring event with opportunities for an Architectural Design Intern to be based in Bloomfield, NJ or New York, NY, starting Spring/Summer 2027. The role involves architectural/engineering tasks, coordination with senior staff, and potential interview sessions in NYC.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Architecture with at least one year of study; hybrid work in Bloomfield or NYC is expected, with a formal onboarding process and a $25–$35 hourly compensation range.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture with at least one year of study.
• Recent graduates with intent to pursue an advanced degree may apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional knowledge and abilities.
• Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
• Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
• Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity.
• Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
