AECOM invites you to apply for our Architectural Design Intern role, based in Bloomfield, NJ or New York, NY. This Spring/Summer 2027 internship provides hands-on experience across architectural projects and client interactions.

Internees will learn under the Supervising Architect, engage in design development, and participate in project coordination across multiple building types within a global firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field with at least 1 year of study.
• Recent graduates may apply if continuing with a Master’s degree.
• Demonstrated interest in architecture internship roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments to develop professional knowledge using standard techniques and criteria.
• Carry out basic architectural/engineering calculations.
• Prepare specifications, reports and data tables.
• Under supervision of the Supervising Architect, undertake moderate complexity tasks within schedules and budgets.
• Follow instructions from senior staff to complete tasks.
