Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to push the boundaries of what exists and help set new standards for tomorrow.

You will work with a team of leading engineers to design, simulate, and test mechanical and thermal systems supporting Qualcomm’s advanced semiconductor technologies. The internship supports the Mechanical Engineering track and aligns with your resume for project assignments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. program in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
• 1+ years of academic experience with programming languages such as Python, Matlab.
• Familiarity with Cadence Sip, AutoCAD, and Solidworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and test mechanical and thermal systems supporting Qualcomm’s semiconductor technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers on IC packaging, chip/package co-design, and thermal modeling.
• Support development of cooling solutions and system-level analyses.
