Qualified students pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering will gain hands-on experience, learn to mitigate risks with engineering tools, and contribute to projects that impact Allegion’s customers and business.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Mechanical Engineering.
• Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Define mechanical requirements and specifications to meet customer needs.
• Develop mechanical designs and support documentation.
• Prototype, test, and validate new mechanical and electro-mechanical products.
• Utilize engineering tools to ensure that risks are evaluated and mitigated early.
• Work with other engineering disciplines and project leads in a collaborative work environment.
