Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is offering a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern position in Dallas. The internship provides hands-on experience supporting engineering teams, with exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, and field visits to project sites.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree, in their second year, with interest in building systems design. The EDT program and education lunch sessions enhance learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university.
• Must be at least in your second year of study.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the latest MEP AutoCAD and REVIT versions is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
