Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Junior or Senior with 2+ years of coursework completed.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support design improvements for plasma and waterjet systems.
• Evaluate alternate mechanical components to address obsolescence and supply chain challenges.
• Participate in product testing, data analysis, and validation activities.
• Apply root cause analysis to investigate product, manufacturing, and field issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation for updates and change management.
• Participate in engineering change processes including design revisions and testing.
• Contribute to New Product Development initiatives as needed.
