Job summary

Clark-Reliance is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027 in Strongsville, Ohio. You will gain hands-on experience across R&D, Product Design, Manufacturing Support, and Compliance Engineering teams.

You are pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering with at least four semesters completed and 3‑D CAD experience. This on-site two-semester program offers exposure to design, testing, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Completion of a minimum of four semesters of engineering coursework.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and OneNote.
• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering drawings.
• Ability to work effectively individually and in a collaborative team environment.
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D components/assemblies, and/or engineering drawings utilizing Autodesk suite of design software.
• Prepare and process Controlled Document Changes (CDCs) as assigned.
• Assist with researching and implementing purchasing part/material deviations.
• Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) within ERP/MRP system.
• Develop procedures to support/improve manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to identifying and completing cost reduction product/process improvements.
• Support hands‑on prototyping, assembly, and manufacturing activities.
• Effectively interact with and communicate with peers, suppliers, and customers.
