Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in detailed engineering work, including part design and drawings.
• Hands-on prototyping experience with 3D printing, milling, laser cutting, and hand tools.
• Experience using SolidWorks and creating or modifying 2D engineering drawings.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate mechanical systems, test fixtures, and custom production equipment.
• Partner with full‑time engineers to develop system requirements and support project execution.
• Perform subsystem‑level analysis, design, assembly, and validation activities.
• Document design decisions, engineering changes, and test results in a clear and timely manner.
• Develop, document, and execute mechanical testing methods and procedures.
• Create and modify CAD models, perform tolerance analyses, and develop 2D engineering drawings.
• Create and manage tickets, provide technical feedback, and assist in troubleshooting software, process, and hardware issues.
• Collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams to support project goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
