Job summary

Peter Basso Associates, Inc. in Troy, Michigan, invites a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join our team.

You will assist engineers with design projects for building systems, using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software, and gain hands-on exposure to the full design process. Candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor's program in mechanical engineering, maintain at least a 2.7 GPA, and have an interest in architectural engineering and engineering design.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering
• 2.7 GPA or higher
• AutoCAD or Revit experience is a plus
• Co-op students must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college, pursuing an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and designers with design projects.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software on building design/renovation projects.
• Prepare calculations for building systems.
• accompany engineers on project site visits to assist in field surveys and dimensioning of existing systems.
