Job summary

Flex is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op in Orangeburg, SC to support our manufacturing teams while you learn from engineers and cross-functional partners. This in-person 40-hour-per-week role provides hands-on experience in time studies, DOE projects, CAD review, and report generation under supervision of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

You are a junior or senior mechanical/industrial engineering student, with SolidWorks CAD experience, an interest in Lean/Six Sigma, and strong

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering major.
• SolidWorks CAD experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
• Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Previous internship experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD.
• Monitor Design Of Experiments (DOE) projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering team by writing reports and communicating findings.
• Attend team meetings and support project work as needed.
