Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Wadsworth, Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Co-Op to support ongoing projects within our engineering and operations teams. You will organize spare parts, update CAD drawings, and develop value stream maps to identify improvements.

This onsite role fosters Lean applications and hands-on manufacturing support. You will collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers, gaining mentorship and real-world experience in a manufacturing setting while

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

Organize, standardize and implement a spare parts inventory system including updating part numbers and creating work instructions to ensure accurate cycle counts.
Update and revise facility AutoCAD drawings for utility management.
Create value stream maps to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production staff to gather feedback on projects.
Support other engineering and continuous improvement projects as needed.
