Job summary

Sonos seeks a Mechanical Engineering co-op in Boston for January–June 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in 3D CAD, DFM/DFMA, structural/thermal simulation, and rapid prototyping while working on acoustics, thermal, and product integration tasks.

You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team, design fixtures for testing, and participate in iterative design and validation processes to support manufacturing.

• Experience with 3D modeling tools and CAD workflows.
• Ability to communicate technical data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment on design projects.
• Develop components, assemblies, and fixtures for testing and prototyping.
• Engage in DFMA/DFMEA and tolerance analysis activities.
• Assist with test plan development, prototyping, validation, and manufacturing.
• Support failure analysis and iterative design improvements.
