Job summary

Bemana, LLC is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Fire Packaged Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of pump packages for complex industrial projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable systems.

You will design and model with SolidWorks, select fire pumps, and tailor systems to project applications, while collaborating with PM, manufacturing, and sales to meet schedules and produce clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of pump system design experience.
• Proven track record in industrial/manufacturing engineering and mechanical product development.
• Deep knowledge of centrifugal, fire, and HVAC pumps, packaged systems, and controls/sequence of operations.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Draftsight (2D), MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong background in project scheduling, timelines, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Design & Develop: Lead mechanical design and 3D modeling (SolidWorks) for pump packages, ensuring NFPA 20 and ASME compliance.
• Select & Customize: Help select fire pumps and tailor packaged systems to specific project applications.
• Support Sales: Work with reps to provide quotes and submittals for approval.
• Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams (PM, manufacturing, systems) to hit project schedules.
• Troubleshoot & Document: Perform root-cause analysis during testing/operation and create clear technical documentation (schematics, BIM, assembly instructions).
