Job summary

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• * Design, develop, and analyze mechanical systems, components, and assemblies in support of intelligence and national security missions.
• Conduct engineering assessments, failure analyses, and performance evaluations to ensure system integrity and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and program managers, to integrate mechanical solutions into complex systems.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, schematics, and CAD models.
• Apply advanced problem-solving techniques to troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend design improvements.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems under controlled and operational environments.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards, safety regulations, and mission requirements. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
