Job summary

Hydro International, a CRH Company, is a global leader in water management solutions. The Mechanical Engineer role sits in the UK Wastewater Services team, focusing on installing and testing filtration systems at sewage sites and performing inspections to support quotations.

The candidate will drive sites, work in workshops nationwide, and travel with overnight stays. A City & Guilds qualification and a mechanical apprenticeship are preferred, with a valid driving license required.

Qualifications

• Current Valid Driving License.
• City & Guilds Qualified.
• Served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
• Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
• Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.
• Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
