Responsibilities include validating designs through testing and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required (B.S./M.S.).
• 3–8+ years in mechanical engineering with thermal focus.
• Experience with thermal modeling, heat transfer, and reliability testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal simulations (steady-state and transient) to optimize performance.
• Design thermal management solutions (heat sinks, TIMs, interfaces).
• Lead solder attach and die/component attach process development.
• Support wire bond process parameters for reliability.
• Select epoxies and adhesives for bonding and encapsulation.
• Collaborate with electrical, materials, and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct failure analysis and design validation tests (DVT).
• Develop process specs, work instructions, and quality criteria.
