Job summary

bo-mar Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and draw fabrication parts for our Beech Grove, Indiana shop. You will create CAD models and production drawings, and collaborate with customers and craftsmen to integrate materials and improve processes.

Ideal candidates have SolidWorks experience for sheet metal design, a MET or ME degree, and strong communication skills. Occasional travel and site visits may be required, with an immediate start possible.

Qualifications

• 3D modeling experience in SolidWorks for sheet metal design is a MUST.
• MET or ME degree.
• strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce detailed CAD models and drawings for fabrication.
• Integrate vendor items and non-metallic materials into CAD models and drawings.
• Collaborate with craftsmen on fabrication processes and product improvements.
• Assist management to improve design processes and efficiencies.
• Occasional job-site visits for field measurements.
