Job summary

Brivo, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Lehi to lead end-to-end design of electronic enclosures and server chassis. The role involves prototyping, production support, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver robust, manufacturable parts.

Candidate should have strong SolidWorks skills, sheet-metal and plastics experience, and comfort with light travel. The team values hands-on design, mentorship, and producing production-ready solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline.
• Typically four or more years of mechanical product-design experience.
• Proficiency with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience with end-to-end design from concept to production release.

Responsibilities

• Design product enclosures and mechanical components using SolidWorks.
• Develop enclosure concepts for consumer-electronics, rack-mounted servers, and rugged outdoor enclosures.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Provide guidance to juniors and select appropriate cost, schedule, or safety trade-offs.
