Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to design mechanical parts and assemblies for distribution transformers, with a focus on sheet-metal design and welded fabrications. You’ll collaborate with manufacturing, testing, quality, and other teams to turn concepts into reliable products.

You will perform strength, thermal, and tolerance calculations; review layouts; and use CAD tools like AutoCAD or Solid Edge for modeling and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience developing mechanical designs from concept through manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD and engineering design tools.

• Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies for distribution transformers.
• Solve real manufacturing and design challenges and implement solutions.
