Job summary

Temposonics, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our market-leading sensing solutions through customer-focused mechanical design aligned with time and cost targets. You will drive R&D activities, develop sensor housings and components, and optimize manufacturability while maintaining quality standards.

The role requires 3–8 years of related experience, proficiency in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor), GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–8 years of related experience in sensors/controls.
• Experience with NPI projects.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and GD&T (Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical component design for NPI and product improvements.
• Develop sensor housings and components per specs.
• Perform FEA and thermal analysis; prototyping and debugging.
• Coordinate DV testing (IP, shock, vibration, HALT).
• Support design-for-manufacturability and supplier collaboration.
• Maintain documentation and ERP data for releases.
• Support manufacturing with tooling and test solutions.
