Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, located in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the R&D team focused on new product development for advanced scientific instrumentation. You will design, analyze, prototype, and validate systems for lab and field environments.

The role requires hands-on prototyping, collaboration with electrical/software/ Manufacturing teams, and strong documentation practices to ensure reliability and manufacturability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in mechanical design, preferably in scientific instrumentation or related complex electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and mechanical drafting; PLM experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and integrated systems for new products.
• Support existing products, troubleshoot issues, and assess obsolescence risks for reliability and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into specifications.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Conduct structural, thermal, and vibration analyses using analytical methods and FEA.
