Job summary

FANUC America is seeking an Engineer – Mechanical to handle mechanical design for robotic paint and dispense systems. You will develop drawings, parts, and robot layouts while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet client specifications.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Navisworks. Travel and passport are usually needed for site projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years industry experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Navisworks.
• Passport and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project workload as primary owner for mechanical design tasks.
• Approve final design work and ensure conformance to specs.
• Design robot layout per safety and customer requirements.
• Design end-of-arm tooling and robot application equipment.
• Coordinate design engineers to complete drawings on schedule.
• Enter required parts into Oracle ERP.
• Meet project schedules and multitask multiple projects.
