Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience with mechanical design of electronic/electromechanical packaging.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for modeling, drawings, and simulations.
• Familiarity with PLM and BOM management systems (e.g., Arena).
• Experience with thermal management and cooling design for high density assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
• Strong communication and mentorship abilities with junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, update, and analyze mechanical enclosures, chassis, and packaging for RF power amplifier products.
• Perform 3D modeling and drawings in SolidWorks for new and legacy products.
• Conduct thermal and cooling analysis to manage thermal performance.
• Perform FEA for enclosure and packaging validation.
• Drive VAVE activities to improve manufacturability and cost.
• Own BOM management, assembly guides, ECO/ECR processes in PLM.
• Mentor and direct the work of a Mechanical Draftsperson.
• Collaborate with electrical/RF/PCB teams to integrate packaging with assemblies.
