Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of mechanical design experience for RF/digital electronics in aerospace/military.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and meet commitments.
• Experience with FEA thermal/structural modeling; SolidWorks, Ansys, and Flotherm preferred.
• Experience with military/aerospace environmental specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of high‑power RF amplifiers and LRUs from concept to production.
• Develop product development plans to meet technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Create conceptual and detailed mechanical solutions, while maintaining BOMs.
• Design advanced thermal management with forced-air and liquid cooling.
• Perform FEA for thermal, shock, and vibration performance of assemblies.
• Prepare engineering drawings, documentation, and GD&T-based tolerances.
• Lead peer reviews and design reviews with internal teams and customers.
