Job summary

Arconic Inc in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the Global Rolled Products Operations team. The role focuses on reliability improvements to safely meet the Lancaster Mill business plan and provides engineering support to production, maintenance and administrative departments to achieve plant goals.

You will report to the Operations Superintendent with a dotted line to the Engineering department on project work.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience applying reliability improvements in manufacturing environments
• Ability to coordinate projects from concept to close-out

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services to safely meet the Lancaster Mill business plan and support production, maintenance and administrative departments.
• Coordinate all phases of assigned projects from concept, scope development, bids, design, manufacturing and installation through start-up and close-out.
• Assist production and maintenance with equipment/process issues from an engineering perspective.
