Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in an industrial mill as Mechanical/Maintenance Engineer preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and track preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in a timely manner.
• Recommend and implement upgrades to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA/EPA standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintain detailed CMMS records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production and operations to coordinate schedules and support projects.
• Lead the mechanical maintenance crew in the supervisor’s absence and oversee contractors.
